WBBL 2023: all you need to know, squads, matches

The much awaited Women's Big Bash League is entirely slated to begin from 19th October with the match between Sydney Sixers Women and Melbourne Stars Women at North Sydney Oval in Sydney. This is the ninth season of the high-profile tournament consisting of (59) matches that also includes three finals. The tournament will be being played across (14) venues in Australia. Adelaide Strikers will be entering the tournament as defending champions after their victory over Sydney Sixers during last season. The ninth season of WBBL will conclude on December (2) with the final. There are eight teams vying in the tournament, Adelaide Strikers, Melbourne Stars, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Thunder, Brisbane Heat and Sydney Sixers. The tournament is set to witness exciting clashes as there is only one day to go for the tournament to get underway.
