WBBL 2023: Brisbane Heat Women to clash with Melbourne Stars Women

The 13th match of the ongoing Women’s Big Bash League will see the clash between Brisbane Heat Women and Melbourne Stars Women on Friday at Allan Border Field in Brisbane. Brisbane Heat Women are coming into this match match on the back of their win from their last match against Sydney Sixers Women. In their last match, Brisbane Heat Women beat Sydney Sixers Women by three wickets to register their third consecutive win of the tournament. Brisnbane Heat Women are dominating the points table with their three wins out of their three matches they have played so far. Brisbane Heat Women have supremely dominated the WBBL 2023 with their constructive performances. Other than Sydney Sixers Women, Brisbane Heat Women have played their matches against Melbourne Renegades Women and Perth Scorchers Women. Grace Harris, Georgia Voll and Jess Jonassen have been superb in their performances. 

Melbourne Stars Women, on the other hand, won the opening match of the tournament which was against Sydney Sixers Women. But their next two matches have resulted in their defeats against same opponent (Adelaide Strikers Women). They are on the sixth position in the points table with two points and the negative NRR of -2.494. Meg Lanning, Sophia Dunkley and Alice Capsey will be the key for Melbourne Stars Women.
