IND vs ENG 3rd Test day 1 lunch: Rohit revives India after Wood strikes early

After having a shaky start, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja are anchoring India’s innings out of trouble in the third Test match against England that got underway on Thursday in Rajkot.
As soon as Indian skipper Rohit Sharma decided to bat after winning the toss, India suffered three setbacks in a quick succession with Mark Wood blasting Jaiswal and Gill to put India on the back foot. Tom Hartley took out Rajat Patidar.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma was dropped on 27 off Joe Root only to bring up his fifty off 71 deliveries.
Earlier, India handed down the caps to Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan as Ravindra Jadeja made his comeback to the team after missing the second game.
Ben Stokes is playing his 100th Test match as he leads England in an intensely competitive game. Heading into this game, England had made one change with Mark Wood replacing Shoaib Bashir. At lunch, India were 93/3 with Rohit and Jadeja at the crease.
